Hi, I’m Seanna Aker, RN a 53 year old registered nurse of 32 years, certified holistic health coach, and sleep educator specializing in circadian alignment for midlife women.
I’m also married to my husband of 25 years, a mom of three, and happily sharing life with two cats and a Goldendoodle.
I created The Sleep Nurse because I believe sleep is the foundation of health and because I know what it feels like when sleep becomes complicated, frustrating, overwhelming, or just plain elusive.
This is a space for midlife women who are tired of being tired and ready to understand sleep in a more supportive way.
Here, we’ll talk about natural light, circadian alignment, restorative daily rhythms, curated sleep rituals, hormones, stress, and the simple ways we can begin honoring the body instead of fighting it.
I plan to publish one thoughtful post each week, with occasional notes, rituals (routines) and reflections along the way.
Think of this as a warm, science-informed corner of the internet where we make sleep feel less confusing and more doable.
I’m so glad you’re here.
